Pixrat - Del.icio.us For Photos

Wednesday, April 05, 2006

Bangalore based Pixrat, founded by three ex-Yahoo employees, is Del.icio.us for photos.

Pixrat is a social photo bookmarking tool. It is a collection of links to interesting and popular photos on the web. I found it very easy and intresting.

On Pixrat you can:

  • Save links to your favorite photos on the web and see a preview of the same as thumbnails. You can bookmark and access photos from different computers connected to the Internet.
  • Share your favorite photos with friends, family, colleagues and others.
  • Discover new and interesting photos. You can browse the popular photos from the web that others have bookmarked and add them to your collection.

Oooh, that looks cool. They could improve the layout though. But I like the idea :D

yepp, i agree if u look at the log o, it is not matching with the background giving weird look.... but idea is great..

Hey Rajesh,

Thanks for profiling us. The service is still in beta and we thought we would get it out in the hands of users so we could get feedback about the biggest areas of improvement.

Look forward to seeing more picmarks from you on Pixrat :-)
